Peter Clifford

Peter is married with two children, one of whom is now joint director in his business interests.

Peter was initially senior mining engineer at Griffin Coal Mine and in 1981 founded MineMap Pty Ltd (which he sold in 2006) having distributed approximately 1,200 licenses to aid mining and geological evaluation for mining operations around the world. During this time, Peter was also involved as a consultant to many operations providing mining expertise to the industry.

In 1994 he founded TerraVision Pty Ltd whose current client base is predominantly mining, government and transportation and is used throughout the world for mine production management, fisheries management, passenger information systems, dispatching systems and onboard monitoring of trucking fleets.

In 1999 he founded Optimum Planit Pty Ltd and provided mine design optimisation tools also to the mining industry and in very quick time secured 15% of Australian Open Cut Mines as its client base. He sold this in 2008.

In 2001, Peter was a joint founder of Thiss Technologies Pte Ltd and brought to market leading edge mobile VSAT satallite communication solutions (www.thiss.net) operating at a fraction of the cost of competitive systems. Thiss was able to secure 60% of the Asian maritime market’s access to the internet and then sold this company in 2019.

More recently, he formed Paradigm Fuels Pty Ltd which leverages off 14 years of development in the renewable fuels space
